Artist Workshop with Nephi Tupaea and Te Kīra Whakamoe
Saturday 10 May, 1pm – 3pm | This workshop is connected to Vivienne Haldane’s Photographing the Pacific Sisters exhibition. Nephi and Te Kīra will lead a hands-on workshop, learning to weave the 'fluffies' worn by the Pacific Sisters and exploring how these creations express cultural identity and gender fluidity. Free, booking essential.
Available year-round and refreshed every school holiday, the Interactive Wall at the Gallery is a continually evolving space for tamariki to engage in free, hands-on activities. Our latest wall is based on Maioha Kara's exhibition In Good Relation.
