Pukapuka Mahi, April 2024

Available and refreshed every school holiday, our Pukapuka Mahi aim to help tamariki discover different spaces in the Gallery and learn more about our current exhibitions.

In our current edition, you'll find a creative activity related to exhibition, Foundations and Additions: Plans for the Heretaunga 100 Block, where tamariki can play architect and design their own version of the Hastings Clock Tower; an exercise involving dreaming up objects that we could sell in our shop, Te Toa; plus, an exhibition-inspired word find and space for a self-portrait.

Get your tamariki their free, interactive booklet at the front desk of the Gallery whenever you visit.
