Harvest is a photographic exhibition by Hawke's Bay photographer, Richard Brimer. Through large-scale format photographs, Richard captures portraits of the seasonal worker, those behind Hawke's Bay's booming horticulture and viticultural industries. In this programme, students will explore how artists convey identity through portrait photography, and the rich stories these portraits tell. In the workshop, in smaller groups, students will try different art-making techniques of capturing portraits, both of themselves and of each other! What can we learn about ourselves and of others by capturing their image?
