Under the guidance of experienced printmakers and teachers, students will explore a range of simple printmaking techniques to create a concertina booklet. Students will use a printing press, stencils and a variety of natural and found textures and shapes to create their booklet, and take this home with them at the end of the day.

This workshop aligns with the Thinking Unfolding exhibition by the Print Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (PCANZ).

More about the artist: Kathy Boyle is a New Zealand visual artist, working across several disciplines including printmaking, multi-media and installation. Kathy has been a printmaker for the past 16 years, and was a founding member of the Central Print Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (now Print Council Aotearoa New Zealand).

Alongside her art practice, Kathy has 30 years of teaching experience to provide printmaking and mixed media workshops for both artists and teachers.
