As part of te MOKO on our face / in your face, we have artist and renowned musician Darryl ‘DLT’ Thomson running artist workshops.

In preparation for these workshops, Darryl and fellow Toimairangi artists are designing three 6-metre long artworks adorned with imagery that tell stories about Heretaunga, historical references, Rongokako and more.

These specially designed pieces will have stories told as the artwork is unravelled, and after a kōrero by the artist, students will be invited to add their own colours and designs under the guidance of Darryl.
