Artist Jade Townsend and nail artist Tilly Merson
Saturday, March 2, from 10.30am to 12.30pm
Join local nail artist Tilly Merson and artist Jade Townsend for a morning of inspiring conversation and decoration.
Tilly, who is known for her work nationally through her Instagram account @morning.glory_nails, has crafted four stunning shell-inspired nail designs, drawing inspiration from Townsend’s exhibition, He Whare Ātaahua. It’s flash art, for your nails!
Open to everyone over the age of 16, pop in between 10.30am and 12.30pm and have one or two shells, hand-painted by Tilly. Jade will also be there to add to the conversation. Nails will be done on a first in, first served basis, with drinks and nibbles available while you wait to enable conversation.
Free, no booking required. First in, first decorated.
Please arrive with bare nails or gel polish. Tilly will apply gel polish in a way which can be easily buffed off at home or will come off naturally over time without damaging your natural nail.
